Few things are as inspiring as a great song -- and as reviving as singing it with good friends, companions, and family. And a favorite song -- especially one that hasn’t been heard for a long while -- can instantly rekindle both joy and cherished memories.  

That’s what my Honey on the Mountain programs are all about. Every performance is a set of songs and stories that arc dynamically to engage, amuse, move, inspire and uplift the audience -- whether that audience is living in a retirement or assisted living community, a nursing or memory care residence, or a private or communal home. 

Folksongs, Storytelling, and Sing-alongs 
Folksongs, Storytelling, and Sing-along programs consist of great folksongs and beloved acoustic pop songs from the 50s, 60s, and 70s. My objective is to entertain and invigorate listeners, and to get them singing some.  

Original Songs 
If your community would prefer a quieter musical event, I can provide an engaging concert of my original songs and entertaining stories. My music falls in the style commonly referred to these days as "Americana" music. My songs range within this expansive category, often with a literary overtone that stirs people to think and reflect, as well as to simply enjoy.  

As You Like It 
Of course, programs can be structured to your preferences, and can be any mix of original songs, folk songs, stories, and sing-alongs, as desired. Most often, performances are about an hour to an hour and a half in length.
